All of us, at one time or another, will ponder what it means to be human. In this story, we find that those of us who claim the label of humanity might have something to learn from a machine.
Author’s note: Language in this story would rate a strong PG-13 according to the guidelines of the MPAA.
“A Question of Humanity”
Story by Peter Hodges
Dramatic Reading by Kate Baker
Music: “Warm Air” by Vanessa Mae
For those of you listening for the first time, I left the music in at the end for effect. We’ve gotten questions on why its so long, but like credits you’d see at the end of a movie, this gives you time to reflect at the end of the piece.
If it’s too bothersome, I will probably edit.
Another great Job Kate!

Nicely done. It was both well written and well read. I’m so proud of both of you :’(
A side note on the story: I thought androids were every woman’s dream? A vibrator she can cuddle with!
I dub Jason “Captain Inappropriate.” May God have mercy on your soul.
Very nice. Keep it up Pete and Kate. If I knew how to give you some of my transfer limit I would.
Another good one… Great job as usual Kate.. Pete, the boy has to learn how to howl… I did like the pun with Andy..Blitz
God tried to smite me a couple of times, but he missed, what with all the laughter. That’s right, I’m pretentious enough to think that i make God chuckle.
As of 6:50 AM this morning, when I left for work, there were 328 downloads.
Nice story – nice narration… I was engaged .. and I think you have a fine future in audiobooks !
