I did a little experimenting with GarageBand. It includes an insane number of loops; combine that with some skills at a keyboard, and you can sound awesome in no time.
I think this little number is cool. I was feeling funky, so I used the main bass line from a loop Apple provided and added the soul organ and the groove myself to complete the sound.
