The newest trailer for The Dark Knight has been leaked, and it is available for viewing and download here.
Let me make a couple of comments.
- Wow.
- Heath Ledger seems to pull off the Joker in “spades.” (I’m going to hell for that pun.)
- Christian Bale is perfect as Batman. He plays the role better than anyone else, including my personal favorite–Val Kilmer.
- The Joker seems to be the result of psychotic, self-mutilation, rather than an industrial accident. I’m not sure if this makes it creepier and more realistic or not.
This may be my early pick for the must-see picture of the summer.

I agree with the above comments except for Heath Ledger as Joker. I’m neither wowed or bored by what little I am able to see, so I shall reserve judgement. Otherwise, I’ve penciled it in on the Movie List for ’08.
