It's been a hell of a week…

Sorry for no posts this weekend and for sparsity the week before.

I was out last week on business travel (Austin, TX); then was deathly ill Wednesday-Thursday. (After tomorrow, I may have a somewhat weird announcement about that.) This weekend marked a visit from the adoring grandparents to see the boy, so only after a little decompression time this weekend have I been able to get back in the saddle.

We still have to talk about Breach the Hull (Mike, I haven’t forgotten about you!), Carnifex, and S.M. Stirling’s Lords of Creation Series. I’ve yet to speak intelligently about the BSG season four premiere. In other news, I wasn’t able to sustain enough interest in the classics round table discussion; as is usually the case on blogs, most of my traffic consists of lurkers, which is totally fine. It just means that it might be a bit early in the growth curve of the site to really try something like that. We’ll keep it on the backburner for now.

For the second month in a row, we’re on track to break 200,000 hits; our unique visitor count should continue climbing through the summer with the author interviews and the serial podcast of Loss Of Innocence. (We should start that around the first week of May.)
