The new Star Wars MMO looks absolutely fantastic.

Bioware proved itself worthy after the excellent RPGs they made in the Star Wars universe. Their dedication to a true choice-driven narrative and their attention to detail elevates them above George Lucas in terms of story and character. I can’t imagine a studio better suited to develop the franchise in this direction.

I really like how this looks, and I remain hopeful that they will be able to implement their story system being the “fourth pillar of gaming”. It might be difficult… but we’ll see
One nicely done cinematic does not an MMO make. The gameplay videos thus far look technologically strong, yet even these brief snippets showcase the myriad of problems with most non-flight-sim SW games. Wake me when someone realizes that lightsabers aren’t glowy sticks with which to beat upon one’s enemies.
